In Mark 5, a sick daughter has had a blood disease for 12 straight years. She tried very hard to cure the disease, but all failed, her condition worsened, and things got worse and worse. She knew stories about God, about His ability to heal illnesses, and she thought to herself: “He can do it for me too.”. She comforted herself that: “if I can get to Jesus and just touch the fringe of His robe, I know I’ll be healed.” She went to meet God, bravely broke through all the crowds, and persevered to get out of that circle of people to meet God. “I don’t mean to be rude, but move out of the way.”.People looked at her, wondering: “What’s her problem?” I’m sure she was weak, but she had a made-up mind to get through the crowd. One version says, “She kept saying to herself, ‘If I only touch His clothes, I will be well.”
When she met God, she reached out and gently touched the hem of His garment. God stopped and asked: “Who just touched me?” Everyone said, “What do You mean? It’s so crowded that everyone is touching You.” Jesus said: “No, they’re bumping into me, but somebody touched Me expecting things to change. Somebody drew the miracle-working power out of Me.” When He saw this woman, He said, “Your faith has made you whole. Go in peace” (Mark 5:34)
She has a strong faith, and that is very important. Indeed, among that crowd, many sick people touched God, but nothing happened to change them. It shows that you must have great, strong faith, which will activate the power of God.
In the powers that God exercised to heal the wounds of both body and soul. He laid his hands on people’s hands to help them heal. Believe in Him, have faith in God, respect Him, and do not oppose Him. Live with confidence and optimism and try to fulfill your goals and dreams. Your faith will move God. He will give you strength. Be like that girl. Strong will touch God with a strong belief in His healing of wounds. Live and have faith.
