If you’ll keep declaring positive words over your life, those words will get down on the inside of you. They’ll change not only your outlook, but they will change who you are. Your words will manifest in your life. In difficult times, what you tell yourself will make or break you. You might be empty, but don’t go around bragging about it. It won’t assist you if you tell everyone you’re broke, dejected, and lonely. Those words are leaving your tongue and returning to your spirit.
It becomes more of a reality each time you repeat it.
You are where you are today in part because of what you’ve been saying about yourself. Words are like seeds. You give life to what you’re saying when you utter it out loud. If you keep saying it, it will ultimately become a reality.
You are, whether you realize it or not, foretelling your own future. That’s great when you’re saying, “I’m blessed. I’m strong.” But it’s not great when you’re saying, “I never get a break. I’ll probably get laid off.” Your life moves in the direction of your words.
When you tell someone, “I love you, I’m proud of you, you did a great job on that project.” you’re not just being kind, those are healing words. We have no idea what other folks are going through. They may grin on the outside, but they are sad, lonely, and insecure on the inside. Just a simple word of encouragement, “I’m praying for you.” A simple compliment, “You look great today.” Your words can be what keeps them moving forward.
Think of your words as seeds you’re planting. You’ll eat fruit from the precise seeds you’ve been sowing at some time, so be sure you’re planting the appropriate seeds. In other words, you can’t expect to have a happy life by talking negatively. Start sowing seeds of abundance and increase if you don’t like what you’re eating, and you’ll reap a crop of excellent things.
Learn how to reprogram your words with the life-giving power of God’s Word and speak your God-given authority to change your situation and ultimately, your life! As you let go of the voices of defeat and fear and pick up the voice of victory, your life will never be the same! You can bless your future with your words.
Prayer for Today: “Father, thank You that my words have the creative power to change my life and become my reality. Help me to speak words of life and blessing over myself and my future on a regular basis, so that my faith can be heard. I declare that I will sow seeds of abundance and increase and reap a harvest of good things. In Jesus’ Name, Amen.”
