The Sirius star was the most important to the ancient Egyptians. Their calendar was based on the rise of Sirius in a sophisticated manner. Sirius was frequently identified with the goddess Isis in ancient Egypt, particularly as a signal of the Nile flood. The star has also been linked to Osiris, Anubis, and Sirius’ goddess, Sopdet, whose name means “she who is sharp.” She was the consort of the creature known as Sah, the constellation Orion, and provided fertility to the Earth.
With the naked eye, one can see approximately 2,500 to 3,000 stars from 5,000 visible stars. The stars are frequently associated with secrets and the history of humankind in many ancient mythology, religions, and cultures. Planets and stars affected our forefathers’ studies of human nature and future forecasts, which have influenced us.
Astrology developed in Babylon around 2,400 years ago, and the Babylonians established their version of horoscopes. Many stars in the night sky are dimmed and not visible, but Sirius’ brilliance, sparkling, and color-changing qualities have led to reports of it being a UFO.
“Sirius B is the partner of Sirius. It’s possible that Osiris-as-Orion, ‘Sirius’s partner,’ is a stand-in for the true invisible partner Sirius B.” according to Robert K. G. Temple.
As we know, the oldest and most basic form of Osiris’ name is a hieroglyph of a throne and an eye. As a result, Osiris’ ‘eye’ is essential. Sirius B is known as the ‘eye star’ by the Bozo tribe of Mali, which is linked to the Dogon. Because Osiris is depicted by an eye and is sometimes referred to as ‘the companion of Sirius,’ this is similar to saying that Osiris is ‘the eye star,’ assuming that the ancient Egyptians were aware of Sirius B’s existence and that ‘the companion of Sirius,’ therefore, might refer to it.
The earliest dynastic Egyptians didn’t know the meanings of the Egyptian hieroglyphs and names for Isis and Osiris. And the names and signs appear to be pre-dynastic in origin — that is, before 3200 B.C., or at least 5,000 years ago. Since at least 2800 B.C., there has been no traditional living explanation for the meanings of the names and signs for Isis and Osiris.
Sirius has been referred to as “the Dog Star throughout recorded history.” Anubis, the ancient god, was a ‘dog god,’ with a man’s body and a dog’s head.”
According to Greek scholar Plutarch, “Anubis was truly the son of Nephthys, sister of Isis, though he was supposed to be the son of Isis. Isis was ‘visible,’ whereas Nephthys was ‘invisible.’ (In other words, because the invisible mother could not be seen, the visible mother served as a substitute for the genuine mother, the invisible mother.)
According to Plutarch, Anubis was a ‘horizontal circle, which divides the invisible part… which they call Nephthys, from the visible part… which they call Isis; and as this circle equally touches the bounds of both light and darkness, it may be looked upon as common to them both.’
This is as clear an old description as one could hope for of a circular orbit (named ‘Anubis’) of a dark and invisible star (called ‘Nephthys’) around its sister,’ a light and visible star (called ‘Isis’) — and we know that Isis was equated with Sirius. What’s missing here are the following precise things, which must remain our assumptions at this point:
(a) The circle is genuinely an orbit.
(b) In this context, the divine figures are indeed stars.
Anubis and Osiris were sometimes homogenous. Osiris, Isis’ companion who is also known as ‘the companion of Sirius,’ is sometimes associated with the companion of Sirius’ orbit, which is acceptable and expected.”
Isis-as-Sirius was depicted in ancient Egyptian paintings as traveling with two partners in the same celestial boat. Sirius has two companions: Sirius B and Sirius C, according to some astronomers.
A companion star to Sirius (in the same constellation as the Great Dog) was known to the Arabs as ‘Weight.’ It was thought to be extraordinarily heavy, even too heavy to rise above the horizon. As we know, Ideler calls this an incredible star-name,’ not surprisingly.
Sirius B, Sirius’s actual companion star, is formed of super-dense stuff heavier than any ordinary matter in the cosmos. Its weight is the same as that of a typical massive star.
Between ancient Egypt and ancient Sumer, numerous divine names and other similarities (Babylonia). The Sumerians appear to have known Egypt as ‘Magan’ and communicated with it.
Anu, Sumer’s chief god, was shown as a jackal, a version of the dog motif that was also utilized in Egypt for Anubis, in which the dog and the jackal seem to be interchangeable as symbols. Anubis’ Egyptian name is ‘Anpu,’ which is related to the Sumerian’ Anu,’ and both are jackal gods.
Wallis Budge, a notable Egyptologist, believed that both the cultures of both Sumer and Egypt originated from a typical “very ancient” source. The Sumerians also called Anu An (a variant). Osiris is also known as An in Egypt.
As Plutarch said, Anubis (Anpu in Egyptian) was a circle; it’s worth noting that the term Anda signifies ‘ellipse.’ in the Sanskrit. This could be a coincidence. Anubis, according to Wallis Budge, represents time. The combination of ‘time’ and ‘circle’ meanings for Anubis strongly suggests ‘circular motion.’
According to Plutarch, the Egyptians called Horus “the power that is given to guide the revolution of the sun.” As a result, the Egyptians created and identified such distinct dynamics, a crucial aspect.
Dogon and Sirius
As we all know, the Dogon describes Sirius B as ‘heavy’ and speaks of its’ weight.’ The sky, and everything associated with it, are essential to the Dogon. According to Dogon legends, God Amma (also called Amen) created the atmosphere. He was also the one who produced the first living species on the planet. They are referred to as “Nommo.” Ethereal spirits were the first people to live in our world. They are, however, occasionally referred to as amphibians, hermaphrodites, or fish-like creatures. According to the Dogon, the Amma created these animals in the distant past. They claimed that the Nommo were ancient astronauts from the Sirius star system, 8.6 light-years away from Earth.
This fact makes scientists confused. How do the Dogon have access to such cosmic knowledge? There are two possibilities. Aliens did undoubtedly pay a visit to Earth. Or there was once a highly evolved civilization on Earth from which all Dogon knowledge was derived.
